toyed with my previous styles and then experimented with looser charcoal-ish strokes, depicting more girls with melancholy in their eyes. the stories that surround the drawings are of my everyday life, but hidden deep deep within the symbolism.

digital art captured my heart and i started furiously drawing and drawing and drawing. finally i was able to successfully do passable digital paintings, which i fell in love with! i also acquired a tiny sketchbook, in which i doodled girls with bagged eyes and insolent stares.

my first forays into the wonderful world of tablets and digital art! tried to develop a trademark for women with big hair that defied gravity. the tales behind this year's work started off rather fantasylike, but soon veered into sobriety.

the 2007 sketchbook is filled with characters and more nonsense. here i was really into exploring expressions, especially with the movement and position of hands. i started to give my drawings a little bit of attitude and some narrative background.
