a quick little sketch i did to relieve some of my world cup fever. yes!!! i am a german fan and they are onward to the semi’s by the time i am publishing this. i truly wish they will win spain and netherlands will win uruguay… because i would love to see a germany vs netherlands game!!!

it was heaps heaps heaps fun to do this one, the traditional european dresses were super fun to do and for once i didnt get all anal about the face! hehe. also not getting too antsy about the linework means i finished this in about an hour (my fastest yet – normally i spent between 6 to 8 hours on a regular piece) and this is so suitable for my nonexistant attention span. my boyf likes this drawing a lot, in fact he was complaining “damnit i like the holland girl better”. (he’s german.) oops?

welp both the dresses are pretty similar actually… except that the milkmaid has that coneshaped hat thing and wooden clogs!
